Casey was taken away too soon, he left a whole community with out words. Casey had several friend's and was loved and cherished by many. Although Casey had only lived long enough to see his eighteenth birthday, he lived a full life. Casey adored his car, his white BMW, his girl friend Kayla and his long time friends Erica Sylvestri, Olivia Wright, Luke Brown & Ian Shea. He was adored by his big sister Dara, who truly believed he was perfect in her eyes. Casey cared about others in a way that few can, he was patient, kind and empathetic. He loved Skateboarding, playing basketball & driving his car all around the Jersey Shore. He had a fantastic Fashion Sense and possessed the will to be percieved as unique, as he truly was.

Due to the current Monmouth County NJ Heroin Epidemic: A Cause has been created in Casey's name. "Cause for Casey Low" it is a non profit charity which wishes to raise not only awareness but funding toward non 12 step rehab facilitations, with the economy in the current state that it is in, parent's and loved ones alike find it impossible to send their loved one that is suffering from a painful drug addiction to a rehab facility that has high success rates. Most insurance companies only over partial coverage & usually toward a 12 step program which has a 5-10% success rate. 1. Because 28 days is not a long enough time period to heal the mind and body. 2. They offer medical detox (suboxone/ methadone) which, offers only temporary relief, once this medication is taken away from former addicts they return back to using almost immediatly.

Right now due to the current Heroin Epidemic occuring in Monmouth County, NJ : New Jersey rehabs are over crowded, ill equipt to handle all patients & well, generally unsuccessful.

Cause for Casey Low does not believe that heroin addiction is a disease, we believe it is 100% treatable when sent to a correct facilty for treatment that does not involve medicine, but involves behavioral therapy and a longer stay, a three month stay at the facility to treat the addiction itself and another month or two living in a sober house or transitional living arrangment.
